June 10 – Giant Frog…I guess

Well I finished the colouring and blending. But I am really not happy with it. What did I learn? I learned that Vermillion and Alazarin crimson are expensive (there isn’t even a Vermillion offered in Winsor Newton watercolour markers). I learned that I also already have an Alazarin crimson marker (it was the one that I was using to get pink). But the most important thing that I learned? If I’m not enjoying the art, I need to move on to a different picture. Life is too short!

Of course now that I have an extra Alazarin crimson marker, expect more reddish hued pictures….
